New Venues for Sunday Roast and Post of the Day

Everyone is familiar with David McMahon’s Sunday Roast over at Authorblog. Well, David is taking a sabbatical from blogging while he works on his novels but he’s passed this particular baton to Eddie Bluelights over at Clouds and Silvery Linings. And guess who Eddie featured in his first Roast… our own Kathleen Kimball-Baker over at Easy for me to say!
In her interview, Kathleen proves to be even more gracious and compassionate than she does regularly on her blog. If you haven’t read it as yet, you really should. And if you haven’t added Kathleen to your blog as yet, you really, really should.

So, if you want to nominate anyone to be featured on Eddie’s Sunday Roast or want to be considered yourself, go to Eddie’s blog and email him.
On another note, David’s Post of the Day and Contender Awards are now being conducted by Hilary over at The Smitten Image but she's going to be doing Post of the Week so her icon is a bit different. All of us want to be recognized and I know how honored I've felt each time I won a Post of the Day or Contender award. So anytime you read a post that "speaks" to you in some way, pass it along to Hilary for consideration. Validation is a good thing.

Through these two popular blog posts, David has introduced me to several fantastic bloggers I’m now very proud to call my friends; Eddie and Kathleen are two of them and I’m sure there will be many more as time passes and I continue to read the Sunday Roast and Post of the Day.

Thank you David, for being so unselfish with your blog and here’s wishing you much success with your new novels.

Happy reading folks!

  9. I am honored, Jane. Truly, madly, deeply. Thank you so much for your incredibly kind words. We are lucky indeed that David touched so many lives and that the traditions he started live on with these most generous bloggers! And we are also most fortunate to have in our company Jane Gaston, whose marvelous story-telling abilities and fascinating life keep us coming back for more and more.

    Fondly,
    Kathleen

  11. Thanks for letting us know, Jane. David has been so kind to so many, including me since I began blogging, and I was blessed to be a contender three times for POD. He always made me feel so special, so I'm glad that this tradition and the roasts are going to be carried on by other bloggers.

    XO,

    Sheila :-)
